New Look! New Work!

After months of hard work, my new site is finally up. Thanks to the tireless and unflappable Rick Holmes -- my wonderfully patient web developer -- I've got a site that is easy to manage and update. The Sound of One Hand Clapping: A New Blog!

What is the sound of one hand clapping? That's the sound of yet another blog shouting into a vaccum. Then, why, you might ask, should I read your blog? It doesn't have celebrity gossip, nor will it dissect the latest news stories of the day.To this I answer: It will be chock full of kvetching about culture and design; I will share my ongoing research into vintage imagery (I've got a goldmine of found images that you must see); and most importantly, I plan to make every recipe from the kitsch collection and share with you the delicious results of this experiment. While I'm a realist about how often you will read, I feel pretty safe knowing that my mom will check it once a week. You might too. If you want to hear how the burger tiara goes down.
