- 2 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 tbsp chopped chives
- 1/2 cup shredded raw carrot
- 1 cup creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
Preheat oven to 350. Combine the ground beef with all the other ingredients. Mix lightly until well blended. Shape into a loaf in a 9x5x3 inch pan. Bake for 1 hr. Allow to stand about 5 minutes before cutting.
Serves six.
