FDR Boardwalk Signage

FDR Boardwalk is a 1.5 mile strip of boardwalk in Staten Island. Maintained by the Parks Department, it is a popular area for bikers and walkers along the coast. This colorful signage and map system was designed to tell the history of the Boardwalk in a fun and contemporary way. The logo was custom designed to accommodate the site markers in the center. These site markers correspond with locations on the map. Each map location tells a strategic story of that particular area of the Boardwalk. Walking north to south the signs are purple and orange, and walking south to north the signs are blue and orange to orient a change in direction.
